Welcome to Mrs. Mazujian's Weblog

The SHR Family and Consumer Science department offers Culinary Arts and  World Cuisine/Advanced Cuninary Arts for the 2008 - 2009 school year.  These courses are hands-on, interactive, and an exciting way to learn.

Course grades are determined by the following formula:     

      50% foods labs

      25% homework assignments

      25% tests (includes agenda, written and performance assessment)

This site will be helpful for completing homework assignments which encourage students to read about food preparation techniques, nutritional food selection, cookbooks, career opportunities in the field, appliances, and specific food units.

Due dates for homework will be posted regularly in the classroom and on this site. 

I am available after school everyday for additional help if needed.
