Art III & IV

Art III & IV is for the student who wishes to pursue a career or further education in art, or the student with a strong interest in art. Students will create a portfolio of work in pencil, oil paint and ceramics. Subjects include still-life, portraits and works from imagination.  Students are required to keep a sketchbook to work on outside of class.  Due dates will be listed below.

THE NEXT DEADLINE FOR SKETCHBOOKS IS FRIDAY DECEMBER, 2009.  IF STUDENTS ARE WORKING ON QUICK SKETCHES, THEY SHOULD HAND IN 5.  IF DRAWINGS ARE MULTI-MEDIA OR COMPLEX IN COMPOSITON, STUDENTS SHOULD HAND IN 2-3. 

11/16-11/25/09:  Students are continuing to work on multi-media self portraits.  They will start oil painting after Thanksgiving break.
