Geometry Elements

Course Description:  This is a course in the major concepts studies in Euclidean Geometry, excluding proofs. Units of study include: Properties of Triangles; Quadrilaterals and Other Polygons; Congruent Triangles, Angles and their Relationships; Parallel Lines and their Applications; Proportions and Similar Figures; Properties of Circles; Sine, Cosine and Tangent ratios and their Applications; Surface Area and Volume of Solid Figures. Informal proof will be used to develop concepts. The course also includes HSPA preparation.

I will be on maternity leave until Sept. 2008.
